Meet the PinHeads
Alison Jackson (right)

Alison's previous professions include working as a TV technician and presentation coordinator with CBC Toronto and owning a retail clothing franchise in Winnipeg. She and her husband now own Tomali Pictures, a 'multi-tasking' production company that offers varied services for the film, video and music industry. All of these professions have built skill sets that are totally transferable to the golf course.
Extensive travel across North America (with clubs in tow) has led to many rewarding relationships, particularly in 1993 when she teed off with Shelley Soles in Cambridge Bay. It was the first of 9 holes played on the ice amidst minus 30-degree temperatures, blinding sunlight, and knife-like winds. Alison's insane passion for the game was forged, although she now prefers the gentle Chinook winds of Calgary.
Shelley Soles (left)
Born in Quebec, Shelley lived in Montreal and Toronto before moving to Calgary in the mid 90's. A highlight was working with CBC Radio's Peter Gzowski managing his national golf tournaments for literacy. While she spent as much time in the air traveling as she did on the greens, it was a special experience and fueled her passion for the game. With Alison, it seems she's finally figured out how to combine golf into both business and pleasure.
Shelley is a marketing and sales professional with 20+ years of experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. When she's not on the golf course, you'll find her pursuing her career as a residential Realtor with Royal LePage, helping people find the home of their dreams.
It was really nice to pay for the golf ahead of time and then know you were golfing at least once a week. Thanks again, to the Queen Pinheads for another fun season of golf.
